Join us for a Real Food Real Stories picnic in the Redwood grove at the UC Berkeley Botanical Garden on March 6th. RFRS Picnic series is a roaming, public gathering centered around wholesome food with honest and authentic storytelling from changemakers in agriculture that is tailored to a unique location. Lunch will be made by The Town Kitchen, a community-based food company in Oakland that provides fair-wage jobs and college classes to low-income youth in the Bay Area. We'll be serving lunch-boxes crafted by young chefs learning to become the next David Chang or Bryant Terry. Yum! ... See MoreSee Less

Did you know that the clothes we wear have something to do with what we eat? We are thrilled to feature Fibershed founder Rebecca Burgess as our next storyteller at the Redwood Grove UC Botanical Garden Berkeley. Hear how Rebecca is weaving a thriving, local textile economy that promotes both sustainability and community, and how what we wear is deeply connected to our food system.
