From Spindle to Spinning Wheel

Have you learned to spin on a spindle and now want to explore spinning wheels?  Or perhaps you have just acquired a wheel and would like to learn more about it. Well, here’s your chance! We will cover the parts of the wheel, how the wheel works, drafting, over the fold, short forward draw, and plying. 2 oz. of fiber is provided as part of your class fee.

Prereq: Intro to Spinning on a Drop Spindle, or 10 hours of wheel spinning

Required Equipment: 1 skein of yarn for practice, Spinning wheel.*
