Peg Loom Weaving with Heidi Harris
May 20, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm$125
Peg looms are simple wooden weaving frames that can produce lovely scarves, rugs, bags, table runners. Students will learn how to warp a peg loom, begin weaving a project, and learn how to remove the finished project from the loom.
Each student will receive a peg loom by “Papa’s One-of-a-Kind Peg Looms.” These looms are made from 100-year-old fence posts from Sebastopol, CA. Each piece has been cut, sanded, stained, oiled, waxed and rubbed with love by Papa, who is from Sonoma County and is 85 years young. There will be an instruction sheet to take home with your loom.
We will have a potluck lunch, giving everyone time to socialize with the instructor and fellow students.
