Crocheting 101: Simple Scarf or Cowl

January 20 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Event Navigation

Instructor: Liz Kaplan

Learn the basics of crochet while making a simple cowl or scarf. By the end of class, you will know how to crochet and be well on your way towards completing your cowl or scarf and onto dreaming of your next crochet project. Our classes are small, to ensure you receive a lot of individual attention.

About the yarn used in this class: Madelinetosh Silk Merino is a soft, smooth, plied yarn made of 50% silk and 50% Merino wool. Its shiny texture makes even the most simple scarves and cowls elegant. This yarn is dyed in America and is available in a wide range of nuanced colors.

This class will teach you how-to:

Liz has worked behind the counter, taught knitting and crochet, and created special events in many yarn shops across Westchester County New York. She has recently relocated to the West Coast to be nearer to her father, youngest daughter, and all that is California.
