Inkle Loom Design + Weaving with Annie MacHale

Welcome to the land of inkle weaving!

Annie MacHale, a weaver based in New Mexico, will be making a special trip to the studio to share her incredible inkle weaving knowledge!

This class will provide students with color and design theory for warp-faced bandweaving and then give them the opportunity to put this into practice as they set up and weave on an inkle loom.

Students will have the opportunity to study many examples, chart their own plain weave patterns and learn tried-and-true practices for successful weaving.

What to bring:
Yarn will be supplied, but if you have your own inkle loom, feel free to bring it! Otherwise, you may rent a loom for $15, or purchase a loom for $100 (select the appropriate option at checkout). If you need to rent or purchase a loom, it must be paid for ahead of time! The instructor is traveling in from New Mexico and needs to know how many to bring. Thank you!
