KNITTING IN COLOR
In this class, you will be introduced to knitting with more than one color.

We will cover both Intarsia and Stranded Knitting (such as Fair Isle) techniques and an introduction to following charted color knitting patterns.

There will also be information given on aesthetic considerations when working with color in the fiber arts.

Prerequisites: Basic knitting ability (comfortable with knit, purl, cast on, bind off Materials needed: Knitting Needles for working with worsted weight yarn – U.S. size 7, 8 or 9 straight or circular knitting needles for knitting flat, plus either a second circular or double pointed needles for knitting in the round, stitch markers, scissors, post-it pad, pencil and paper.

Optional materials: darning needle, stitch holders, knitting bobbins.
Includes worsted weight wools of multiple colors, charts & handouts.
