Watercolor Make and Take with Natural Pigments

What is a natural pigment? Our watercolor cakes (aka pan watercolor) will be made with plant and earth pigments. We follow the stages of the paint making process from selecting your materials to grinding the pigments into an artist quality paint. Everyone will have an opportunity to work the pigment and make watercolors to take with you at class end. Brushes, paper, ink bottles and colors are provided with the lab fee.

If you have a favorite brush or sketchbook, bring it along.

An apron or smock will come in handy to keep your clothes clean.

Come with a sketchbook and snack! All supplies included.
