This class is for NEW + EXPERIENCED Weavers!

Please note this class occurs on 8 Wednesdays: June 12 – Aug 7 (No class on July 3); 4:00 – 7:00pm.

In this mixed level, 8 session class, new weavers will experience the complete process of weaving on a loom from designing, calculating, measuring a warp, dressing the loom, through weaving and finishing a simple summer scarf. Experienced weavers will learn how to design, plan, calculate, warp and weave a simple loom shaped tunic, top, poncho, shawl or other summer garment using summer weight yarns such as cottons, linens, tencels, silks or blends of these. No sewing experience necessary.

Materials are not included. Cotton, linen, silk, bamboo, or any other cellulose fiber is recommended, however, students are encouraged to bring their choice of yarn.
