Red Willow Pond
We guard our sheep with Toni, a guardian llama, and fences. Our Cotton Patch Geese are also watchful and alert, but mostly we think they are fun to observe and we chose them because they are grass grazers too, and on The Livestock Conservancy’s Critical list.
We also keep about a dozen chickens, all of which were chosen for their excellent foraging and hardiness, including Wyendotte, Welsummers, Delawares and Ameraucana.
We are currently producing organic free range eggs and will be sheep breeding for 2019, selling lambs, fleece and possibly meat.
